Marketing Funnels have been around for Ages and it is still one of the best ways to sell Products whether online or offline, if you want high conversions.
In the past i would drive Traffic to a shopify product page, directly from my ads campaign, though i was getting some results and i was happy with it, however, i was missing out on a lot of conversions, by stats i get around 2%-4% conversion rates, this is pretty standard especially for those who run direct paid traffic to their shopify product pages, it is pretty standard conversion rate across the ecom industry.
The flow: facebook ads > shopify product page > checkout
If you are still doing this, then you might want to try out some of the concepts which i will be sharing with you shortly.
Lately i have been building out funnel landing pages for some of my best selling products and writing details copy about each one, and the results have been unbelievable.
Using funnels can not only increase your conversions to about 25%+, it also gives you the flexibility to be detailed about the Product in questions, it is a dedicated page for that product and all focus is on that product, so no distractions to the customer. This is a conversion booster.
A recent study and split test between a standard shopify Product page and an Ecom Funnel Product page proved that Ecom funnel is definitely the best way to go. The result was Ratio 1:10, shopify product page lead to 3 sales, while the ecom funnel landing page lead to 300 sales, all from the same traffic source.
Using a funnel help keep the customer focus on the Product.
It Increases conversions compared to a standard shopify product page.
Increases level of credibility, though all depends on the page set up.
The Customers is already warmed up and already in a more buying mood e.t.c
Here is what am doing right now with my stores.
Facebook Traffic > Detailed Product Landing page > Shopify Product Page > Checkout.
This is the flow am using at the moment, i don’t ever Run Traffic to a shopify product page anymore.
To get started you only need a landing page software, you can use lead pages, a wordpress page, Convertri funnel building software, Clickfunnel..e.t.c
